Google is set to announce the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro on October 19 – a little less than two weeks from now. But we aren’t done seeing leaks of these two new Pixel smartphones. Today, a new video has surfaced on YouTube titled “Pixel 6 Pro assembly video” and it is exactly what it sounds like. It basically is a tutorial on how to assemble the new Pixel 6 Pro. Weird right? Of all the things that could have leaked about the Pixel 6 Pro, a video on how to assemble it? It’s likely a video that Google puts together for those companies that are certified to repair Pixel smartphones, like uBreakiFix. The video is about eight minutes long. The graphics aren’t great, and uses some pretty generic music for the background. But it does a good job to show us how to assemble this phone. You can watch the video below. There’s also a teardown video, which might be a bit more interesting, and you can see that one below.
Pixel leaks are weird
Google has always done such a terrible job with keeping a tab on leaks for its upcoming hardware. Many seem to think that this is on purpose to drum up some hype for the new Pixel. But this leak was likely not on purpose. As its not one that most people are going to care about. We’ve seen some interesting and weird leaks before for Pixel smartphones. And even going back to the Nexus, we saw a full review of the Nexus 5 well over a month before the device was set to be unveiled by Google. In the past we’ve seen display units, as well as other internals leak for different Pixel phones. But this one might be the weirdest. At least now we don’t have to wait for JerryRigEverything’s teardown of the Pixel 6.
