Watch faces from the Pixel Watch can be used on other Wear OS 3 watches
Quinny898 actually tested these watch faces on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. They worked like a charm. He shared some screenshots, which are shown in the gallery below. If you’d like to get the Pixel Watch’s watch faces on your Wear OS 3 watch, you can do it as we speak, thanks to Max Weinbach. Simply download the Google Watch Faces APK, and install it on your watch. The link is included below the article. The Pixel Watch has quite a few interesting watch faces on offer, which are predominantly black. So, they do a great job of hiding bezels and whatnot. The Pixel Watch launched quite recently, and our review is coming soon. Google opted for a really minimalistic design this time around. The watch looks minimal, it’s round, and it has two buttons on the side, one of which doubles as a rotating crown.
The Pixel Watch has proprietary connectors for watch bands
You’ll need proprietary bands for the watch, as Google opted for a proprietary connector. Once a band is installed, though, it looks great, as it seems like it’s coming from the watch itself. It basically does away with lugs (though that’s dependent on the band you’re using, of course). Some people prefer seeing lugs on their watches. The Pixel Watch has been a long time coming, which explains the hype around it. Based on initial reports, the battery life is not exactly great, which is a shame. We still don’t have our conclusive info, the review is coming, though. Google also opted to use a rather old SoC inside this watch, though it seems to perform really well. It will be interesting to see how interested people are in this watch. It’s not exactly cheap, and the bands are quite pricey.
