These two models are getting the November security patch with the new release. Samsung has already rolled out the December patch to more than a dozen Galaxy devices stateside, but the first-gen clamshell foldables are not as lucky. Users of these phones will have to be content with Android 13 here. The unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, meanwhile, are picking up the December SMR (Security Maintenance Release) with the big Android update. The new firmware versions for these phones are F711U1TBU3EVK6, F721U1UEU1BVKB, N981U1UEU3GVK5, and N986U1UEU3GVK5, respectively. The update is available widely across all major carriers for all of these Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung updates several unlocked Galaxy devices to Android 13 in the US
