Surprisingly, the OnePlus 10T is not going to be first here. And that is really coming down to differentiating the two phones. The 10T is kind of a “cheaper” flagship from OnePlus, that is geared more towards performance. While the OnePlus 10 Pro is geared more towards being an all-around best flagship on the market.
Oxygen OS 13 is based on Android 13
OnePlus has had access to the Android 13 code for a while already, Google has not released the stable build of Android 13 just yet. Which means we’re still going to be waiting a few weeks for it to come to Pixel devices, never mind when it will come to OnePlus devices. This update should go better than the previous update to Oxygen OS 12 last year. Which was the first merge of the ColorOS and Oxygen OS systems. And that didn’t go over well with the OnePlus fan base. As their phones basically switched over to ColorOS from OPPO. But OnePlus has now unmerged the two operating systems, but they will share the same base. So you’ll be getting Oxygen OS, and not ColorOS. Which is pretty nice. Hopefully, Oxygen OS 13 will come sooner rather than later for the OnePlus 10 Pro. And it’ll come shortly after to the OnePlus 10T. So keep that in mind when making your buying decision.
