The Pixel 6 Pro teased in a new ad, along with its UI and SoC
The ad itself has a duration of half a minute, and it does show the Pixel 6 Pro in it. You’ll also see quite a few different themes shown here, and some Material You widgets. Google is definitely suggesting you’ll be able to make this device fit you, and your style, hence the name of its software. The Google Tensor SoC is also mentioned in the ad. The video itself is embedded down below, and it ends with a “Coming Soon” message. We still don’t know when exactly will Google launch the Pixel 6 series, but they’re rumored to arrive on October 19.
The regular Pixel 6 did not star in this particular video
Only the Pixel 6 Pro is shown in this ad, but the Pixel 6 got shown many times thus far. Google released official renders of both devices, while we’ve seen quite a few billboards as well. The two devices will look quite similar, though there will be some differences. The ‘Pro’ will visibly include an extra camera on the back, and it will have a curved display, unlike the Pixel 6. Its bezels will also be thinner, at least based on the renders. Both phones will feature a brand new design, that is considerably flashier than what Google delivered last year. You’ll easily recognize these two phones when you see them, pursuing you see their back side. These two devices will be the first to ship with a new version of Android, Android 12. That update will start rolling out to other Pixel devices first, in early October, but these two phones will be the first to come with it out of the box.
