And that’s because it is a Diablo game. With this week’s update, players will get the chance to visit Stormpoint. A new zone which contains a new questline for players to dive into. This is the first post-launch zone to be added to the game and promises to offer up some juicy new gameplay. There are however a few caveats. You can’t just roll on into Stormpoint. You first need to hit level 60. Then make sure you’re also able to transition to Hell III. Lastly, you will also need to complete the Starsign quest. If you’ve done all of those things, you can travel to Stormpoint and begin the new storyline.
The Diablo Immortal story expansion is just the start
In addition to the new storyline quest and the new zone, Diablo Immortal is getting a ton of extra content with this patch. For starters, the season 8 battle pass is being added. This will as always, add a new pass full of items to acquire. And at the end, a new set of seasonal-themed armor. The new pass launches on December 22 and runs until January 19. There’s also going to be a new cosmetic set added to the game that looks like it takes inspirations from Krampus. As well as a new limited-time seasonal event called Brumaltine. This event will run from December 14 at 3am server time to January 4 at 3am server time. Basically complete daily tasks and get holiday-themed rewards. Blizzard is also adding in five new legendary gems, and it’s adding Hell VI, Hell VII, and Hell VIII difficulty levels for those who are high enough level to charge into danger. There’s a ton of other feature updates to the game as part of this update, and you can read about all of them in Blizzard’s official blog post. You can also view the dev update in the video below.
