This time around, the information is coming from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. As expected, his spec sheet is a bit different than the one that surfaced yesterday. We won’t compare the two, though, as there’s much to cover here alone.
“100% accurate” Galaxy Z Fold 4 specifications have surfaced
So, what does the tipster say? Well, he claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. That is what everyone is expected, though Qualcomm didn’t mention Samsung as one of the companies that will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. That made us wonder if the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 instead. Well, it seems like the ‘Plus’ model will be included after all. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will include a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate as its main panel. The secondary display will measure 6.2 inches, and it will be an HD+ AMOLED panel after all, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will also include 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage, both variants will be on offer. Android 12 will come pre-installed on the device, along with Samsung’s OneUI 4.1.1 skin. A 4,400mAh battery was also mentioned by the tipster, and the same goes for 25W wired charging. Interestingly enough, the tipster didn’t mention wireless charging. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 does offer it, though, so chances are the Z Fold 4 will as well.
Five cameras will be included, one of which will sit under the display
A 50-megapixel main camera will be included on the back, along with two other cameras. A 12-megapixel ultrawide is mentioned, and the same goes for a 10-megapixel telephoto unit (3x optical zoom). A 4-megapixel selfie camera (2.0um pixel size) will sit on the phone’s main display, or should we say under it. It will be an under-display camera. A 10-megapixel selfie camera will be included on the secondary display (punch hole). Now, in addition to these specs, Ice Universe also noted that the phone’s hinge will be narrower (this is not the first time he said it), while adding that bezels around the cover display will be thinner. He included a concept image to try and show the thinner hinge (included below).
